Hi all, Received a call today from a local landholder saying he'd seen a bustard on his property. I've just been to see the bird...(very nice!), and it seems quite settled in its patch of cane grass along a small creek. The only other Bustard I've seen here was also in June. I don't want to release the site as it is private property and I don't want the bird disturbed, but if anyone is very keen to have a look I'm happy to take people there as long as details of the site is not passed on. Cheers, Simon starr, Pyramid hill, northern Victoria, Ph: 54557116. -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
