Dear All I have an opportunity to visit Columbia (the country, not the university) for professional reasons. I would only take it up, if I can combine this with some birding. The people who have invited me seem reasonably confident on safety issues, but the reputation of the country is fairly horrendous in those respects. (and I speak ZERO Spanish, which seems relevent to me) Anyone out there will recent experience?
