Hi All,

At last Google have started a 'Groups' web service along the lines of Yahoogroups,  the advantage being that they will store image attachments which Yahoo 'dropped' a few years back. I have created the Wildlife Images Group where digital photography enthusiasts can display their birds, mammals, reptiles, insects and plants,  the only proviso being that the subjects must be wild and not captive or in a collection.

The site URL is http://groups.google.com.au/group/wildlifeimages and images must be sent as email attachments to m("googlegroups.com","wildlifeimages");">.com

Please note that images cannot be opened in the 'web-page' but require an external viewer such as ACDSee, IrfanView or Windows XP viewer, this shouldn't be too difficult to set up, just click on the attachment and choose which viewer to open it with.

Hope you enjoy it, please join and start uploading now!

Tom
