Dear Birders,

ACT 1/6 - Apart from nice Blue-billed ducks in ponds at Fyshwick S.T.W. (remember to sign book inside main entrance) - opposite in Jerrabomberra Wetlands, first birdhide along lefthand track, "Bittern", looked left into reeds in shallow water:- very obliging Spotless Crake, until spooked by squabling Purple Swamphens.

Lovely sunny day, tho' cold.....wish they could get some rain down there (or is it up?? Down from Sydney on map, but altitudewise, it's up). Say what we like I guess, but is there a correct terminology?!

Cheers,
Peter Madvig
