One instance I can think of is King Parrots picking ripe olives in the
Goolooinboin manager's house garden, Capertee Valley, near Lithgow, NSW
- but not eating them, only dropping them after giving them a good tasting.

Hi all
I hope you can help Katrina with this query which I've forwarded it
from the Enviroweeds mailing-list.
Does anyone know if the cockatoos are likely to crush the olive stones
to the extent that they would not be fertile?

A Sulphur Crested Cockatoo was spotted eating olives from a tree in
Sunbury last week. We at Hume Council, North West of Melbourne are keen
to hear from others who have witnessed parrots, specifically Cockatoos
or Corellas, feasting on and dispersing olives. Please let me know if
you have witnessed this, Thanks
