Hi allI hope you can help Katrina with this query which I've forwarded it from the Enviroweeds mailing-list. Does anyone know if the cockatoos are likely to crush the olive stones to the extent that they would not be fertile? Michael Norris A Sulphur Crested Cockatoo was spotted eating olives from a tree in Sunbury last week. We at Hume Council, North West of Melbourne are keen to hear from others who have witnessed parrots, specifically Cockatoos or Corellas, feasting on and dispersing olives. Please let me know if you have witnessed this, Thanks Katrina Roberg Sustainable Land Management and Integrated Weed Control Officer Hume City Council Environment Department 36 Macedon St, Sunbury PO Box 119 Dallas VIC 3047 -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
