G'day all A community groups is developing a management/revegetation plan for The Grange Burn which flows through Hamilton (sw Victoria). One of the issues that has come up is the large roost of Feral Pigeons under a bridge. They have greatly increased in number in recent years and are befouling the stream just upstream of a popular picnic area. Does anyone have experience in removing Feral Pigeons (permanently) from such a site? I suspect anything we come up with will be subject to protests from some in the community but this could be a small window of opportunity.
