I heard from Alice Springs birder Barbara Gilfedder that she had seen Grey Honeyeater in the Olive Pink Botanic Gardens, (on the east side of the Todd River), twice over Easter and more recently others have reported it as well.

Since last Friday I have visited the gardens daily and have seen the bird 3 out of the 5 times. This afternoon was the best views I have ever had of this much sought-after little bird. There were prolonged views on two occasions between 3 PM and 4.15 PM. Three of us were lucky to have this opportunity.

The area around Kunoth Bore where this bird is sometimes seen is very dry at the moment, and they have been hard to find there recently. In the Botanic Garden, the mulgas are in flower from the regular watering, so this is providing a good little birding habitat at the moment.
