At the moment here at Palmwoods, Sunshine coast hinterland we are being overwhelmed with the above species of birds.  Every morning during the last week between about 7 and 9am, large flocks of Topknot Pigeons (60+), Figbirds (100+) and Pied Currawongs (60+) have been flying around my home area.  The Currawongs and Figbirds stay around all day while the Topknots come and go.  While the Figbirds appear to be eating the camphor laurel berries, the Currawongs and Topknots just land in the trees nearby before taking off again after a few minutes in one big woosh.  The noise is overwhelming.

But I know we are lucky to liv e in an area with so many birds.  W\e do have other wonderful species too!
