G'day again all,
So far this poll on the potential of the species
listed to be invasive has received 24 responses. It
is part of a serious information gathering exercise on
species that could be problems in the future. If
anyone else wants to vote it is at,
http://www.envirotalk.com.au/forum/index.php?showtopic=3959
In order to make these results more useful more votes
would be good. The species Dr Daniel Stock is looking
at are,
Chaffinch Fringilla coelebs
Eurasian bullfinch Pyrrhula pyrrhula
Eurasian or common blackbird Turdus merula
Eurasian tree sparrow Passer montanus
House finch Carpodacus mexicanus
Red-billed quelea Quelea queleas
Red-vented bulbul Pycnonotus cafer
Red-whiskered bulbul Pycnonotus jocosus
Song thrush Turdus philomelos
Yellowhammer Emberiza citronella
He is also interested in good references on these
species.
