Thanks guys. I am aware of all that stuff and
figured that most other readers would be. I don't have time to
be going into excessively fine detail on every point.
Although I didn't bother to put together a "life
list" until recent years, I have kept comprehensive "numbers present" lists for
almost 30 years (currently in Broome I am working solely on "present/absent" -
if you saw how well we do numbers up here, you'd understand!). I've always
included the ferals and would never advocate that anyone do otherwise. I was
mostly taken quite aback that Greg had included the Bulbul in his "happy" list
which caused me to comment in the first place.
