On Saturday we were visiting Sydney and ran from Paddington to Turramurra to Bronte and back to Paddington. I was most impressed with the number of grey butcherbirds fluting away as we ran. My guess is at least one per kilometre taking my mind off the pain - a tough job, especially on the way back. On the drive back we were most impressed with the amount of white blossom in the trees beside the Hume highway between Campbelltown and Mittagong. A pity we were in a hurry and couldn't stop to bird. -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
