THANK YOU, THANK YOU

everyone of you

It WAS about Java and after all the frustrations I can now view the BA Atlas and my favourite mapping site which I can use to get longitude and latitude by moving the cursor:
http://www.hypermaps.com.au/index.html

The BA Atlas which was the immediate reason for my query is at
http://www2.abc.net.au/birds/mapviewer.html

My quick check convinced me our Noisy Friarbird down here in November was unusual, to say the least. A sign of global warming/warning?

I got the most recent version of Java (2.4?) by going to the following URL and letting it do its thing:
www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp

But I still cannot understand why I got no rapid information when I put Java into the Windows Help and Support System. OK after some trawling I found the name, but with nothing like the help you folk have given me.

Oh well, Bill Gates is spending money on AIDS etc. But what about the environment? Perhaps someone can tell me.
