Hi all, Thanks for the directions Mike, but a search this morning (27th March) from 8 am - 10am'ish failed to turn up the Pied Heron. I checked the area where Jim first sighted the bird, where you and others saw it, and other spots. I only saw a couple of flocks of White-faced Heron (~25 total). The Pied Heron appears to have moved on, or been temporarily relocated to 'areas unsearchable' by the shooters. Hopefully it is still there and someone else has better luck.
