Still lots of Dollarbirds around Maroochydore to Nambour [100 kms north of Brisbane]. I see about 5 every day as I drive to and from work. Haven't had the chance to check if they are sub-adults. They seem to stay for a couple of weeks after the breeding adults leave each year. Still have Common Koel - at least the sub-adult - visiting my garden. I don't have Channel-billed Cuckoos close to home, so I can't comment on their status.
