BlankHi Birders,

Unfortunately I have seen Swifts over the last few days but like Edwin
Vella, none of them were Fork-tails. However, Edwin, I don't think that you
can assume that the onlty swifts around are the ones that come ahead of the
storm. I can assure you that over the last two weeks, I would have, or some
one else on the Coast would have seen Swifts every day, especially around
Bateau Bay, The Entrance, Killarney Vale, Wyong and Tuggerah. However,
yesterday between 1-3 pm, about 3 hours ahead of the storm that hit, about
30+ WTNs were feeding low over my house as we were eating lunch.

We have had a lot of humid weather these past two weeks on the Central
Coast, and rain on at least 5 of the 14 days, but there were some lovely
summer sunny days as well and the the WTNs were there regardless of the
weather.
