Hi all

I am off to Norfolk Island shortly , March 7 to March 11, and have a couple
of questions.

1. I will try and hire a fishing boat for a trip out to the shelf on one of
these days and was wondering if anybody else will be there at the same time
and wish to share the cost etc?. E-mail me privately on this one.

2. Most lists mention Red-crowned Parakeet. However looking at "Avibase-
Bird Checklists of the World" for Norfolk Island it mentions Red-fronted
Parakeet ( Cyanoramphus novaezelandiae ) which is obviously the same as
Red-crowned but also lists Norfolk Island Parakeet ( Cyanoramphus cookii )
as an Endemic and endangered species. Are there two similar parakeets or are
they lumped as one and the same ? Is Red-crowned Parakeet an endemic or
introduced species on Norfolk Island ?

Thanks in advance for any help

Cheers
