               Sorry Leonard,
                  Good bins, eg Leica, Zeiss and Swarovski and probably the
more expensive US and Japanese ones, are guaranteed for thirty years.
                  When you come to think of it, 30 years will probably be a
birdwatching lifetime to some of us .
