G'day, A friend recently took a rather good photo of a Barking Owl. He feels that it is of the northern race but here on the Atherton Tablelands we are just a bit too far south for that according to the books he has consulted. Would anyone care to comment on the taxonomy, have a look at the photo or pass any other judgement?
