Nocturnal Magpies

Saw one myself on the way home from work (11.30pm 1/2/05). Perched atop one of the "Dont Walk" lights cnr of New England/Cunningham Hwy Warwick.

This corner is a favourite haunt for Magpies during the day as well, not often do I go through this intersection without seeing 1 or more.

I have worked at other employment here in Warwick where the Magpies would be active as early as 3am where it was absolutely dark outside the lit areas.
