Hi all,
I'll be spending a night near Healesville this week.
Would anyone be able to share any sites for finding owls in the area. I'm
particularly keen to see a Sooty!
Cheers,
Simon starr.
PS Highlights for 2004?
A simply fabulous pelagic out of Port Fairy in late March seeing a number of
Blue Whales, large numbers of shearwaters, prions and Albatross inside the
shelf attracted by krill, and a great selection of pelagic species further
out.
A Golden Bowerbird displaying near its bower at Paluma.
And a Painted snipe landing on my local creek the day it began flowing with
the spring rains.
Amongst too many others to mention.
