Hi Mike et al

A flock of approx 15 WTNTs circling dry eucaplyt forest and open
cutting (High voltage powerlines) approx 30 kms south of Brisbane CBD, SE Qld.
at 7.30 am Saturday 18.12.04. Medium cloud cover, little breeze - (unable to
ascertain direction, almost unnoticeable anyway). No pending storm or rain.
Flock moved north circling from the tops of the forest (30 meters) to ultimate
heights. There may have been more, but believe 15 is pretty close!
To think these birds may not land for 9 months of the year? Is this
realistic? Wow!
