Hi,

For information, there was a barking owl calling in Belgrave Heights threenights ago. The bird was calling continually for about half an hour at3:30am (I had been kindly woken by my one year old daughter). This is notfar from Lysterfield Park where local birders recorded roosting Barking Owlsrecently. It would appear therefore that this bird has a territory in thevicinity of Birdsland Reserve, which is just a the bottom of the hill.
