Recently I observed a Long-billed Corella on the the golf course take about
ten steps backwards. It had been feeding quietly with another Corella when
we approached. they both looked at us and then one of them surprised me by
walking away backwards. the other did'nt move. I've never seen this
behaviour before. I might add that it looked very comical waddling away on
its stumpy grey feet with a very dirty face.
