Must be the week of planning for Big Twitching. I'm planning on seeing how many birds I can see or hear within my regular haunts in Orange on Saturday. The sites are all within a 50km driving distance of Orange. Saturday is the closest available day I get to the longest day of the year so I'm planning to use the daylight time to get as many as possible. The down side is a prediction for a very hot Saturday but we'll see how I go. My estimation is between 80 to 100 birds. I'll send in my report on Saturday night. Steve Gross Orange NSW |
