I don't share your confidence about state conservation agencies taking the issue up. .................. it was very difficualt to get this issue up as an issue I can assure you that it was taken seriously in western NSW in the lead-up to this locust event. There was plenty of warning that we had the potential for the worst plague in 30 years. This resulted in all the relevant stakeholders having time to ensure they were involved.
