Hi Both
Would something from Melbourne be treated as just an intrusion ? If not I could:
point out value of dog-free areas for humans which I as a dog owner support
say we have similar issues with 4 local reports saying dogs should be kept away
from our best coastal bird area because of birds and other animals (and
trampling seagrass?)
mention various texts on dogs and birds (David Paton's Coorong study, last
year's Wingspan supplement on shorebirds)
say it is bad policy and anti-democratic to give way to petitioners (even a
majority) unless they have demonstrated they are not merely selfish and have
understood the objections and implications.
