Hi,I made my first visit to Campbell Park since becoming a resident of Canberra last week. The ground was pretty wet after all of the recent rain. I saw 34 species with the highlights including lots of Red-rumped Parrots in the car park, two pairs of Leaden Flycatchers displaying on the track before the horse gate, about 8 Speckled Warbler, 3 White-throated Gerygone (and I heard more), 3 Pallid Cuckoo, 1 White-winged Triller and 4-6 Varied Sitella (a species I haven't seen at Campbell Park before). Unfortunately I also encountered lots of Starlings and a pair of Indian Myna near the track before the horse gate.
