Thanks Bill, The reason for my interest in the Striated Grasswren on Big Red is that this is outside their published range, and your sighting confirms the sightings I had on Big Red earlier this year and the year before. The relative ease of your Eyrean and Dusky Grasswren sightings in October, as opposed to April,when we have looked and eventually found them but they were quite timid, suggests that they may be leading up to breeding. Would appreciate the GW pics you did get. What lens were you using? Cheers Michael |
