Hi Tim and All, Around 1994?, the Brisbane City Council conducted Toad Buster nights throughout Brisbane where people got together in groups and caught toads by putting their hand inside a plastic shopping bag and then inverting it after they had grabbed the toad. They were then put in the freezer or the Council collected them. I think the program run for about 2 years. Since then, there have been a lot less toads in Brisbane. Maybe it worked or was it just coincidence? Jan |
