g,Day allOn the 14th of September 2004 while visiting Weipa, Qld, there were 5 Spotted `Whistling-Duck at the waste water ponds at the eastern entrance to town and an additional 10 on the Marpoon Road ponds. Scott Templeton from Coen informed me that there are often 30+ present here and they can nearly always be found at these ponds. regards Ian May -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
