Hi everyone,
On my way to work today I witnessed two Sulphur-crested Cockatoos being
persistently mobbed by a group of four Silver Gulls. The gulls eventually
drove the birds from their perch in a large Norfolk Island Pine. I was
wondering if anyone could suggest why gulls would show aggression to cockatoos?
Are they perceived to be a bird of prey by the gulls? Any thoughts or
experiences would be gratefully received.
Daniel.
