Speaking of dive bombing birds, during my daughter's horse riding lesson yesterday we had a very aggressive Lapwing do at least 40 close dives on the instructor's dog that was lying quietly in the middle of the sand arena. The lapwing didn't bother with me, the instructor, or the horse and rider. Just the poor perturbed kelpie that was minding its own business!
