G'day all There is a tour group leaving the Broome Bird Observatory today to attempt to locate the Rosy Starling (which has created quite a deal of media interest in the west). I'll let you know tonight if we come across it. The bird seems to be remaining on the same area of fence line, indicating that it's happy enough to stick around for a while and its immediate needs are all being met in the current locality. For more info, I can be contacted at the Observatory on 08 9193 5600. Regards - Ricki |
