Hi all,
I have just uploaded a new version to my
website. With some embarrassment! My initial analysis of the Motacilla
flava and Motacilla citreola complexes was wrong!!!
Since putting up the last version, I received
finally( it takes a long time for things to get to distant Australia) my copy of
Alstrom and Mild's magnificent book on Pipita and Wagtails.
So I now agree that there are two species in M.
flava: flava and tschuchensis, the latter including macronyx and taivana as
subspecies.
I have'nt finished entering all the intergrade
information in the distribution, nor all the synonyms in the
synonymy.
But I thought I should get something up to set the
record straight!
Emjoy,
John
