Hi Netters,

While motoring along the highway between Ulverstone and Burnie a White-breasted Sea-Eagle flew towards the highway. It crossed the highway a short distance in front of me and hanging in the talons, a Tasmanian Native Hen.

Two Forest Ravens were following but don’t know if they were harassing the Eagle or thought they may have a chance of a feed. At my sister’s home at Lapoinya a Crescent Honeyeater was added to the garden list.

All the Best

David Siems
