Hi Ian

Menkhorst mentions (in A Field Guide to the Mammals of Australia) "some
individuals pale yellowish-white" and somewhere I saw this form referred to as
the "Golden Brushtail Possum".

We've had reports (and a photo) of single ones over the last 3 years or so at 4
locations, all within 1.5 km of each other. One observer felt sure the one he
saw often was albino. The photographer also initially thought his was an
albino but later felt, I agree, that the animal was pale rather than albino.

PS No reports of White-fronted Terns at Ricketts Point in the last 2 weeks.
