Used Natural History Books

G' day all,

This morning, one lucky Birding-Aus list member picked up a slightly water damaged copy of Shorebirds for $50 in Australia.
It was a 1998 reprint of the 1st 1986 edition. This book is indeed an essential tool for Wader/Shorebird devotees.

I list below some URLs for Web Pages to locate used/2nd hand books.
I have used several, and can recommend Advanced Book Exchange  www.abebooks.com  (which currently lists 15 used copies of "Shorebirds" available around the world) and also Amazon.

Rather than use the secure payment facilities I often phone the Australian booksellers to arrange shipping methods & payment.
