Hi bird lovers I'm sure we all know some pretty good examples of convergence, but take a look at these Nashville Warblers. The resemblance to Silvereyes is quite striking. I'm sure that there must be a good paper waiting to be written on the advantages of the white eye ring, it seems to be one of those themes which continually crops up in birds. I hope this link works, as I've had trouble with them on Birding-Aus of late.
