Hi all I'll be in Townsville-Cairns the next fortnight or so. Are there any new stakeouts for any of the specialities of that area, other than the "known" sites (I have done substantial preparation using the archives, the web, tripreports, and one or two guidebooks). I am particularly interested in owls and Papuan Frogmouth. In addition, are there any unusual birds present in the area at the moment? Please reply to me directly as I will be off b-a for a while. Thanks in advance.
