Gary next time you are in the vicinity of Southbank, take the boardwalk a little further up the river under the bridges toward West End. In the past twelve months I have photographed Striated Heron, B/F Cuckoo Shrike, Willie Wagtail, Fig Bird and Pee Wee (brooding Koel) all nesting. Plus Brown Honeyeaters, Darter, White Faced Heron, Little Pied and Little Black Cormorants, Brahminy Kite - and Tom Tarrant even saw 2 Wedge Tail Eagles recently.

Happy birding

Peter
