I have just returned from the Mid-north Coast
where I located a single Swift Parrot in
Blackbutt, just behind the ocean beach at
Dunbogan.

The bird was at 31° 39.175´ 152° 49.485´.
This is on a small, private estate and permission
would be needed to access the site. This would
probably be fairly easily obtained from the
residents.

The general area from Port Macquarie to Crowdy
Bay NP has wonderful birding and there are many
other spots in the area that could be checked for
Swifties.
