Hi birders,
Called into New Beach just south of Carnarvon where Dusky Gerygone, =
Slender-billed Thornbill, Rufous Fieldwren, Redthroat, Mangrove Grey =
Fantail & Yellow White-eye were the more interesting birds. Then at =
Carnarvon [27-30th May] spent some time at Pickles Point at Small Boat =
Harbour, locating a wide range of waders including Terek Sandpiper, =
Sanderling, Grey-tailed Tattler, Grey Plover,Greater Sand Plover & =
Whimbrel & several tern species like Caspian, Gull-billed & Lesser =
Crested. A trip to "The Blowhole Reserve" revealed Striated Heron & a =
few Roseate Terns.
To be continued.
Cheers
