A ten-year old girl named Charlotte has found Scaly-breasted
Lorikeets in a hollow at a height of only 5 FEET, right where a very
busy park meets the road. Perhaps the magpies nesting above afford
the Lorkeet nest some protection...
Joseph Forshaw gives the height of these birds' nest at
something like 30 feet, I think.
