Hi all, Arrived home from a fortnight away last Tuesday and was surprised at the number of Superb Fairy-wrens in full colour. There are still some males in eclipse but even those are covering the car mirrors with excreta! Then today I enjoyed a few minutes watching a group of Weebills building a nest; and the Grey Shrike Thrushes are becoming vocal. Nice time of the year really, even if the birds are not really nesting early.
