Hi all
Especially: Carl Corden!

I started to read Carl's posting on his trip to SW Qld but when I reached the
part where it said:
"Sulfur-crested cockatoo" I had to stop to catch my breath and settle my racing
pulse!!

Please!!!
There is no such animal as a "Sulfur-crested cockatoo"!!!!!!!!!

The name is "Sulphur-crested Cockatoo"; it is spelled that way in ALL of the
AUSTRALIAN bird field
guides.

Note the CORRECT (!!) spelling and the capitalised "Cockatoo"!!!
(Even HANZAB does not include "Sulfur" as an alternative spelling and I hope
that we never ever
adopt this abomination.)

I hope to recover in a short while and will then try to read the rest of the
report.
