Has anyone seen the Grey Grasswrens at Pyampa Station in south west Queensland of late? I was there in June and dipped utterly. We spent about 5 hours in the bone dry lignum swamp and did not see a single bird therein, it was quite the most sterile vegetated environment I've ever been in! Have they been seen there at all of late? It is deadly dry and I guess populations must be at a low ebb. Any info greatly appreciated, please reply to me direct as I am currently not on Birding Aus.
