Hi David,

90 Red knots were reported down at Lake Victoria at Pt Lonsdale last week.

I went to check them out and one of the birds had an orange and yellow leg band.

There was also a juvenile hooded plover there with orange and yellow leg bands. ( i think it had one band on each leg).

I remember the order being important, but cant remember which way they where ordered.

Are you able to provide any info on these birds with this info?

I seem to recall yellow meaning south australia, but would a juvenile hooded plover fly from south australia?

Peter
