Yesterday evening, I believe I saw the Grass Owl at Kedron
Brook wetlands! Stopped by the freeway and crouched at the entrance,
about 6p.m., seeing Black-winged Stilts feeding in the
near-dark of the freeway lights at night, until after a few false
alarms with fruit-bats, about fifteen metres over my head
flapped/floated the bird, silent, and pale beneath.
