Do any of you have Greek language connections? In a song translation I've come across Petrohilidoni which is literally stone-swallow. So far, I've been unable to find the name in any official Greek list of bird names. I suspect it may refer to the House Martin but I'm not sure... any ideas? thanks for any help Philip Griffin -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
